03 Nov Fall at the Duck Pond and Family Photos
Wow, the Norman, OK duck pond is really pretty in the fall! I loved the beautiful orange and yellow autumn leaves, and we were only afraid that the ducks at the duck pond would rise up and attack us once or twice.Â
The kids were awesome! No temper tantrums, fighting, or throwing fits (not that I encounter that very often anyway, and no big deal if I do), just smiles all around. I have to say, I loved their style. I think I commented on the kids’ fabulous shoes several times – such great fashion sense!
As Moms, I think we have the tendency to forgo photos of ourselves sometimes. Here’s my note to the ladies: don’t forget to get photos of you, and just you! You may want to look back years from now and wonder at how lovely and young you once were, and your children and grandchildren down the road will cherish these memories.
I’m more than a little obsessed with bridges. Word to the wise, if we’re ever doing a session near a bridge, chances are high that I’ll put you on it and snap a few dozen photos. The bridge at the duck pond is especially nice, and bonus points: I don’t have to worry that it’ll collapse and maim the clients. That would be awfully inconvenient.
Thank you so much for another great photo session! I love your family and am glad to count you as a friend. It was so much fun and you guys are a bunch of cutie patooties with great style!
