25 Apr Spring Family Photos at Paseo

Oh, how I loved photographing this family! It was a beautiful morning at the OKC Paseo Arts District (and by beautiful, I mean it was windy and cold as heck – the family and the buildings were the beautiful part). Here are just a few of my favorites, and I had suuuuuch a hard time narrowing it down. Lucky for you, or else this blog post would have been the entire photo shoot.

The little girl was so sweet! She ran over to me and confided in her toddler voice, “My hands are cold.”
“Mine, too!” I replied, “When my hands are cold, I like to blow on them and rub them together.” I proceed to demonstrate, blowing hot air onto my hands and rubbing them. She looks at me like I’m crazy.
“I like to put my hands into my pockets,” she says, then puts her hands onto her hips, searching for pockets.
OK, this conversation may sound inane and a bit strange, but imagine having it very matter of factly with a toddler, as if this is serious business you’re discussing, but meanwhile, you (the adult) are trying really hard to keep a straight face because everything she says and the way she says it is just beyond cute.
