02 Dec The 3 Little Beauties – Autumn Family Photography
Well, shoot. I was going to try and restrain myself and just show a few select photos, but I think every single photo I took from this session was my favorite.
Therefore, get ready for a virtual onslaught. I still managed to restrain myself from sharing the entire batch here, but trust me, you’re missing out. This family is one of my favorites, especially the 3 girls.
We wanted to make sure we got special one-on-one photos with each kid and each parent. Hopefully one day in the future, each girl will be able to look back with fondness at the special bond they had with their parents.
I loved that they were so silly. I got a bunch of funny photos, including one they took of their parents (you’re welcome Lindsey – I’m keeping myself from posting it here). Here’s one of the highlights of the girls’ silly moments:
Gaaaaaaah, they’re so cute! I even got sweet hugs at the end of it all.
My youngest boy isn’t content to simply walk from one place to another. He has to hop and skip from one spot to the next, constantly stopping (and forcing me to stop) to check out a frog, weird piece of litter, or interesting view that’s caught his eye. I’m an on-the-go type of person, so it’s difficult and sometimes frustrating to force myself to stop along with him, but every time Max makes me stop I find myself appreciating the reminder to slow down. The hopping around is one of those cute things about childhood that makes me smile to myself, like when both of my boys were younger and we’d always come home from walks with rocks and sticks in their pockets and little fists.
The girls were like that at our session, too, skipping excitedly from one photo spot to the next, exploring the woods, and giving big smiles. Thank you so much!
