Have I mentioned lately how excruciatingly difficult it is to photograph my own family? This one was actually not so bad because I let the boys be silly after we got a couple of the more traditional poses. Hence the preponderance of little boy bottoms. Anyway, from my family to yours, we wish you a very Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, Festivus for the Rest of Us, Happy Kwanzaa, or other non-denominational holiday! The boys and I braved Saturdays with Santa at the Devon Energy Center. It was a lot of fun!  Very well organized, with live music and crafts to keep us entertained while we waited for our text that Santa was ready for photos. (more…)

Well, Fall lasted for all of five minutes. We bid it farewell the only way we could–by decimating the beautiful leaves that now litter our yard.

I get to photograph some seriously cute kiddos. My own boys are seriously cute, too, but when I pull out my camera, it’s as if the “Let’s Make Mom Miserable” fairy has beaten them over them head with her magic wand. Case in point, I thought it would be great to do a mini-session with the boys and my mom:

Had to post on my own kiddos, since they are totally cute when they’re not trying to kill each other. One of my favorite things to do is to grab my dudes and head outside for a walk. Of course, they are male so a walk is never just a walk:
